Lesson 1 integers and Absolute value
integer:  Is any number from the set{ ..., -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ...} Whole numbers positive and negative.
Absolute Value: The distance a number is from zero.  It is always positive.

Additive inverse:Two integers that are opposites.

Positive X Positive= Positive
Negative X Negative= Positive
Negative X Positive= Negative

Negative X Negative X Positive= Negative

If you have an Even number of Negative multiplying each other it will be Positive
If you have an Odd Number Of Negative Numbers Multiplying each other it will be Negative.

9 X 8= 72
(-9) X 8= -72
9 X (-8)= -72
(-9) X (-8)=72

The Quotient of 2 integers with the same sign is positive.
The Quotient of 2 integers with different signs is negative.

Examples 72 /  -8 = -9 notice the different signs the 72 is positive and the 8 is Negative
